Steely Dan has announced a new residency at The Venetian Las Vegas. Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Donald Fagen and Walter Becker will take the stage at The Opaline Theater for a limited engagement, during the month of April. For the first time, west coast fans will have the chance to experience the band’s “multi-night residencies.”
Steely Dan’s nine-night exclusive Las Vegas residency, titled “Reelin’ in the Chips,” will entertain audiences with a “greatest hits” set of diverse selections from the band’s extraordinary catalog. Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums and helped define the soundtrack of the ’70s with hits such as “Reelin’ in the Years,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “F.M.,” “Peg,” “Hey Nineteen,” “Deacon Blues,” and “Babylon Sisters.”
With approximately 30,000 theatre seats around the world, Las Vegas Sands is a global entertainment leader, collaborating with top national and international show producers to feature world-class entertainment at the company’s properties throughout the US and Asia.
The addition of Steel Dan adds yet another impressive addition to the Sands Entertainment global lineup. With acts such as the international award winning musical, Chicago at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, the Irish Dance Phenomenon, Riverdance at The Venetian Macao and famed director Baz Luhrmann’s, BAZ – Star Crossed Love at The Palazzo in Las Vegas, guests visiting Las Vegas Sands’ Integrated Resort properties around the world have plenty of entertainment options to choose from.
