The convention center has about 2.25 million square footage of meeting space to be utilized for clients. Its location adjacent to The Venetian and The Palazzo, allows for convenience for convention-goers during their stay. In 2017, Sands Expo held 53 conventions with an estimate of more than 780,000 attendees for their exhibit hall programs. Although the number of events may vary through the years, many recurring shows report an increase in attendees, which expanded their programs and related service needs. Over the past several years, Sands Expo has become increasingly focused on customer experience from show management to attendees, as they are all high valued guests who enjoy the same level of service from the front desk to their suites, and to the exhibit floor. Some of its largest programs include CES, SHOT Show, HIMSS, AWS Re:Invent, and AAPEX. Today, the Sands Expo remains one of the largest convention centers in the world.

Restaurant Row at The Venetian and The Palazzo
At the midpoint where The Venetian, The Palazzo, and Sands Expo meet is a plethora of restaurant choices known as Restaurant Row. Restaurant Row is home to ten food and beverage outlets, a curated selection in comparison to the more than 60 restaurants also on property. The properties’ dining lineup includes a variety of choices for guests to satisfy their palates: a java moment at “Starbucks;” Southern comfort food at “Yardbird;” South American-chic at “Chica;” nightlife for grownups with craft cocktails at “The Dorsey;” or dining at a celebrity chef restaurant  like “CUT” by Wolfgang Puck and “Delmonico’s” by Emeril Lagasse. Just like the property as a whole, Restaurant Row adapts to the business and leisure travel guests alike. During prime convention period, the area stands as an ideal location for networking, business dinners, and full buyouts for company private events. A unique feature of the space is the “pub crawl” or “dine around” events that it can accommodate by having such an extensive range of food and beverage offerings in a condensed space between the two properties and adjacent to the convention center. This feature allows for groups to accommodate large volumes all at the same time, giving guests a small taste of the variety offered by Restaurant Row.
