Sands Expo in Las Vegas
Though all Las Vegas Sands properties offer options for the MICE industry, Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas was the game-changer. The convention center has about 2.25 million square footage of meeting space to be utilized for clients. Its location adjacent to The Venetian and The Palazzo, allows for convenience for convention-goers during their stay. In 2017, Sands Expo held 53 conventions with an estimate of more than 780,000 attendees for their exhibit hall programs. Although the number of events may vary through the years, many recurring shows report an increase in attendees, which expanded their programs and related service needs. Over the past several years, Sands Expo has become increasingly focused on customer experience from show management to attendees, as they are all high valued guests who enjoy the same level of service from the front desk to their suites, and to the exhibit floor. Some of its largest programs include CES, SHOT Show, HIMSS, AWS Re:Invent, and AAPEX. Today, the Sands Expo remains one of the largest convention centers in the world.
Bethlehem Event Center at Sands Bethlehem
The Event Center welcomes both the leisure and business traveler alike, with access to the 4-Diamond award-winning hotel and the ability to host concerts, comedians, magicians, convention and trade shows, banquets, galas, festivals and other special events. There are about 250 events a year with around 400,000 people visiting a year. Its large open space and high ceilings make it viable for various set ups, equipped with a superb sound system, and an on-site production team for sound and lighting to ease any technical needs. This past year, the Events Center hosted the Greater LV Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting/Show Ball, Boy Scouts of America Banquet, Via of the Lehigh Valley Banquet – Greater LV Realtor with Penn State Couch Franklin Dinner, Bridal Trade Shows, US Foods/Sysco Food Show, Britney Spears, Barry Manilow, Christmas Shows with Tony Orlando and Cirque Dreams Holidays, Lord of the Dance, two-day Lehigh Valley Food & Wine Festival, and Dancing with the Stars.

The interconnected Shoppes at Four Seasons, Shoppes at Venetian, Shoppes at Parisian and Shoppes at Cotai Central make up a total of over 2 million square feet of opulent retail space. The latest addition to Sands Shoppes Macao is Shoppes at Parisian. Set against a backdrop of iconic sights, including a replica Eiffel Tower and Les Jardins, Shoppes at Parisian channels the creative energy of Paris, while walking through the iconic streets of Avenue Montaigne, Avenue des Champs-Élysées and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Guests have a choice of more than 150 boutiques, featuring both well-known luxury brands and popular brands from around the world. It’s not uncommon to be strolling along and window shopping, to come across one of the many street performers – mimes, musicians, singers and more. It features some of Macao’s first-to-market luxury brands, and with its unique design themes, is an not-to-be-missed experience for visitors.
Restaurant Row at The Venetian and The Palazzo
At the midpoint where The Venetian, The Palazzo, and Sands Expo meet is a plethora of restaurant choices known as Restaurant Row. Restaurant Row is home to ten food and beverage outlets, a curated selection in comparison to the more than 60 restaurants also on property. The properties’ dining lineup includes a variety of choices for guests to satisfy their palates: a java moment at “Starbucks;” Southern comfort food at “Yardbird;” South American-chic at “Chica;” nightlife for grownups with craft cocktails at “The Dorsey;” or dining at a celebrity chef restaurant like “CUT” by Wolfgang Puck and “Delmonico’s” by Emeril Lagasse. Just like the property as a whole, Restaurant Row adapts to the business and leisure travel guests alike. During prime convention period, the area stands as an ideal location for networking, business dinners, and full buyouts for company private events. A unique feature of the space is the “pub crawl” or “dine around” events that it can accommodate by having such an extensive range of food and beverage offerings in a condensed space between the two properties and adjacent to the convention center. This feature allows for groups to accommodate large volumes all at the same time, giving guests a small taste of the variety offered by Restaurant Row.
