As part of our Sands Cares global corporate citizenship program, Las Vegas Sands and Clean the World are teaming up to build 200,000 hygiene kits that will improve the health and well0being of vulnerable populations worldwide. The build will be held on September 26 at our properties in Macao, Singapore, Bethlehem and Las Vegas sequentially within a 24-hour time period.

The Las Vegas Sands Global Hygiene Build with Clean the World will feature approximately 4,000 LVS team members and volunteers who will build the hygiene kits that consist of soap, shampoo, conditioner, a toothbrush and toothpaste. The soap in all the kits was collected from Clean the World’s hospitality partners, including LVS properties from around the world, which was then recycled through Clean the World’s soap sanitation and processing equipment.

“For the first time ever, Las Vegas Sands properties are joining in a single and united Sands Cares event to help communities across the globe,’’ said Ron Reese, senior vice president of corporate communications at LVS. “This global kit build with Clean the World will help thousands of impoverished and homeless people who can’t afford or lack access to simple basics like soap or shampoo – including those in need in our local communities. These kits help prevent disease and promote good health and dignity.”
