Marina Bay Sands was honored by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) for Sands for Singapore, the properties corporate social responsibility program, at the second AmCham CARES award ceremony in April.
AmCham CARES recognizes American companies in Singapore that have demonstrated a strong understanding of the linkages between business operations and society. These companies also conduct business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value.
The 2017 AmCham CARES awards were presented by Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin and U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affaires Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath to 42 businesses during AmCham’s 44th Annual General Meeting.
Sands for Singapore is Marina Bay Sands’ corporate giving program through Sands Cares. Las Vegas Sands’ corporate giving program, Sands Cares, continues its commitment of making our communities better places to live through philanthropic giving and volunteerism that promote a strong quality of life in the regions where we operate.
