April was a busy month at Sands Bethlehem!
Throughout the month, Sands Bethlehem Team Members were challenged to do some spring cleaning in their homes to find unwanted clothing, household items, baby supplies, books, games and toys to be donated to Via of the Lehigh Valley. Via of the Lehigh Valley is a non-profit agency that provides services for children and adults with disabilities. We’re proud to announce that our team stepped up to the challenge to collect over 5,800 lbs. of clothing and other items!
On April 28th, several Sands Bethlehem Team Members volunteered their time serving dinner to approximately 20 men at Victory House in Bethlehem, PA. Victory House is a nonprofit, community-based organization committed to addressing the problems of homeless men, including veterans between the ages of 18 and 65.
To close out the month, Sands Bethlehem hosted a special Team Member-only sale from April 29th – 30th. Employees were able to purchase office supplies, furniture, home décor, accessories, clothing, and more at a discounted price. The sale brought in over $6,100, all of which will be donated to charity.
